i found this on design boom and i found the structure to be truly amazing. at first i thought maybe the inspiration came from possibly a rubber band ball but when i read further i could now see the designers actual vision of an abstracted tree, the trunk being the main staircase located inside of the structure.
I am so glad you ate looking through design boom, especially in the architectural design area. These are wonderful pictures, and it makes you realize how technology can really open up new possibilities in design!
